  4. Week 17 NY Giants vs. Dallas - Moved to Sunday Night

Talk is Cheap, Play the Game - NY Giants 29 - Ny Jets 14

After a much anticipated city rivalry that had so much trash talking - it redefined the New Jersey waste management industry - The New York Football Giants defeated the Jets and kept their division and playoff hopes alive.

Personally, it was a great holiday gift watching the Giants offense explode from the 1 yard line with a solid pass from Eli Manning to Victor Cruz for an incredible 99 yard TD. The often exposed Giants D played an incredible game with relentless pressure and consistent coverage that did not give up a big play. It was a well balanced D that had NY Giants fan wishing they played at that intensity and organized a few months ago. It’s time to move on and keep marching forward…

Sunday night’s game featuring the New York Giants and the Dallas Cowboys is a winner take all match for the NFC East Championship.

The table is set for the Giants to return to the playoffs after a 3 year absence. It has certainly been a season of highs and lows for the GMEN. On offense, Eli Manning has been nothing short of ELITE caliber and now selected to the PRO BOWL that was made possible by a breakout year for Victor Cruz, Hakeem Nicks (drops and all), Jake Ballard making key receptions and the tandem of Bradshaw and Brandon (Full Beast Mode) Jacobs showing up in key games. On defense, does any name bring more excitement to Giants fans than JPP?. In an obviously defensively deficient season for the GMEN, number 90 has established himself as a PRO BOWL pass rusher and a person to be accounted for by opposing teams in the NFL. And with the apparent return of Justin Tuck, whose presence was very visible against the cross-town rival New York Jets, NY Giants Fan would say things are looking up for this defense. Tuck’s “return” and a simplified defensive game plan came at the right time.

NY GIANTS Win = the NFL Playoffs!

Defeating Dallas on Sunday Night is a must before any fans fantasize about a possible playoff berth. That’s right, the Giants have an opportunity to take the NFC East title this Sunday night and with it the number 4 spot in the NFC Playoffs, setting them up for a likely first -round home game against the Detroit Lions or Atlanta Falcons. THIS IS A HUGE TASK ON SUNDAY, and come watch the game at ACE’s.

ACE’S - New York Giants Bar - San Francisco, CA

Sunday night’s game will be televised nationally so of course, you will have the option of sitting at home with your dog by your side if you want. True NY Giants Fans suggest that you come to Ace’s, where the atmosphere will be stadium-like, even though it’s a “school night”. This is Giants history we’re talking about! Bring your wife, girlfriend, father…it’s all good as long as they bleed blue…and REPRESENT. Come early (5:20 kickoff) and ***STUFF the front of Ace’s near the screens***. Take all of the stools, wear your blue Jerseys, and be ready to chant G-I-A-N-T-S…Giants! Do not allow any spiteful Cowboy fans to get near our screens. Any of them who are dumb enough to attend will probably exit (or be tossed) long before “ NEW YORK, NEW YORK “ can be heard playing in the bar. Oh, and have a wonderful New Year as well. ..just sober up by game time!

  6. Occupy ACE’S 2011

    OCCUPY ACE’S 2011 - Week 13

    Hello New York Giants Fans,
It’s time to occupy Ace’s on Sunday, this is a make or break game for the 2011 season. This is no easy task either, as week 13’s opponent is the Green Bay Packers, who are led by Aaron Rodgers. Don’t get me wrong here, he is an excellent QB and his favorite pass is the back shoulder 50+mph super accurate fast ball to his receivers.

Now the New York Football Giants have their backs against the wall (nothing new here) coming off a terrible loss to the New Orleans Saints in week 12 - this Sunday’s game has a lot of significance.

Ace’s Bar | Sports Bar San Francisco

This game is taking place in NJ at MetLife stadium and EVERYBODY on the NY Giants organization wants/has something to prove.

The Defense is seeking to redeem themselves after the TERRIBLE performance in week 12. (Osi is ruled out)

The Offense wants to prove that it can score early in the 1st QT of a game (RB Bradshaw is a probable, WR Manningham is doubtful)

    The Schedule for Sunday:

Wake up early, get some friends and eat a decent meal or brunch.

Next, grab your favorite New York Giants outfit that you have ( let’s pretend its your last game watching them - so look good please)

Arrive at Ace’s at 12:30pm PST - 1pm PST and get a comfortable spot because this game is going to get LOUD!

Lastly, make sure to tip for the BBQ and your delicious drinks BUT ALSO make sure your having a good time because it’s NFL FOOTBALL and you LIKE IT !!!

  7. Week 11 - New York Giants vs. Philly Eagles

Thanksgiving is just around the corner

The Thanksgiving holiday break is just a week away and I know many New York Giants fans in the San Francisco Bay Area will be going to celebrate it with their families in their respected cities and warm loving homes. However, the New York Football Giants are playing THIS Sunday night and you really can not have an excuse to watch the game against the Philly Eagles at home.

The New York Giants Are Looking For a Bird to Cook

Let’s keep the Thanksgiving theme going here..The New York Football Giants are looking to fight back from a valiant loss from week 10’s game against the San Francisco 49ers. Wait let’s back up here for a second, THANK YOU! to everyone that came out and participated in the “Trip to the Stick”. I hope everyone had a great time and has gotten some rest and their voice back as well - It was a great showing and we did this trip to the FULLEST.

Alight so for week 11 - The Giants are looking to bounce back from their defeat as they face their biggest rival. The Giants D will be looking to cook the Eagles as the bird for a pre thanksgiving meal. Now I know the Eagle is on the near extinction list in the USA, but on Sunday all that is out the window as I want the Eagles and all their fans to have their playoff hopes DESTROYED.

Snap Shot of the Eagles for Week 11

*QB Michael Vick is questionable with an injury (ribs)

*WR Jeremy Maclin is questionable with injury (shoulder + hamstring)

*WR Deshaun Jackson is fully rested after being suspended by the team for week 10

*RB LeSean “Shady” McCoy is having a pro bowl type of season

Snapshot of the New York Giants for Week 11

*RB Ahmad Bradshaw is ruled out of the game (foot)

*Michael Boley is injured - doubtful (hamstring)

*Justin Tuck has a new injury -probable (ankle)

Time for the New York Giants to leave it all on the field

Osi and “shady” McCoy were in a trash talking - “he said-she said” type of communication exchange (in the media and twitter) during the off season lockout . All that I know is the the New York Giants D have named him “Lady Gaga” and Osi is personally going to be out there hunting him down for the comments he made off the field. Personally I want Osi to rise to the occasion and stop the run ( I have yet to see that ). Next, with Michael Boley injured, I look forward to seeing rookie LB Mark Herzlich get more playing time. If you have not seen the 60 minutes story about his comeback to both Life and professional football, it is pretty inspiring. (click here for the video clip) Lastly, Prince is expected to play in this game. I am starting to give up on keeping up with “the Prince making his debut for the New York Giants” monitoring - YAWN. ( I hope he plays and when he plays, he makes big plays!)

    Schedule for Sunday:
Arrive at Aces 4:30pm PST - 5pm PST
    Kickoff - 5:20pm PST

  8. Eli Manning TD pass to Mario Manningham

Some live action from Week 10 - New York Giants QB throws a TD pass to Mario Manningham in the corner of the end zone
